Jonathan Duhamel has become the latest poker professional to officially become part of Team PokerStars.
Poker Listing reports that Duhamel is the third consecutive world champion to be recruited by the team, following in the footsteps of Joe Cada and Peter Eastgate.
The French-Canadian pro now finds himself on the same team as seasoned poker veterans Daniel Negreanu, Chris Moneymaker and Liv Boeree and he described the move as a "dream come true".
He told the publication: "I want to be playing the biggest tournaments in the world. I'm going to be doing my best to pull off another big score."
Elsewhere, the news provider recently reported that Scott 'URnotINdanger2' Palmer was able to start the New Year with a big win at the $200/$400 No-Limit Hold'em poker tables against Richard 'Kpederson' Lyndaker.
He won $342,000 (£220,500) during the marathon 2,000-hand session that took place last week.
