2011-01-12 16:25:57

Following Day 3 of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure just 48 players remain in the running, with Chris 'Getting Daize' Oliver leading the chip stacks.

He amassed a total of 3.675 million chips by the end of the second session, with his closest rival Max Lehmanski way back on 2.324 million.

Oliver now stands at nearly four times the average chip stack going into Day 4, with other notable remaining players including Team PokerStars' Chris Moneymaker, who is presently lying in fifth on 1.636 million chips.

The day began with 173 players, but entrants who had gone into the day strongly and ended up going out included Eric Buchman, Jonathan Jaffe and Faraz Jaka.

Meanwhile, the WSOP Tour continued the Choctaw Resort and Casino last night (January 11th), with James 'Catfish' Bullard taking home $56,772 for a win in the $555 No-Limit Hold 'Em Circuit ring event in the run-up to the Main Event that starts on January 22nd.
