Card Player has named Taylor 'Ambiguosity' Paur as its best online player for 2010.
After amassing total earnings of $1,099,435 in 2010 and achieving a record annual points total of 11,030, Paur was officially recognized as the best online player of the year at the close of play on December 31st.
The title could not have been closer, however, with Steve 'gboro780' Gross pushing Paur all the way with annual earnings of $1,023,658 and points of 10,320.
Gross should be given his fair dues though, as he has finished in the top two fight-out for the title in the since 2008, making him one of the best and most consistent players in recent years.
Meanwhile, Poker Listings highlighted the season of Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi as being the most entertaining of 2010.
The highlight of his year was perhaps his fifth place finish in the WSOP Main Event, the publication claimed, bagging him in excess of £1.5 million - at a time when he was facing serious debts and even foreclosure on his home.
