In its first month of operation, the Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Pennsylvania has paid out more than $10 million to punters.
Jackpots worth more than $1,200 were handed out to 4,161 players between April 15th and May 15th.
In total, $10,096,004 was won by visitors at the Meadows casino, which recently increased the number of slot machines at the venue from 1,800 to 3,700.
The jackpot daily average also increased, rising from about $200,000 to $336,000.
Some $175 million was spend setting up the permanent casino, which was opened in the middle of last month.
As well as slot machines, the venue also houses an electronic table games pit, top restaurants, a racing grandstand and VIP boxes.
When the Meadows temporary slots parlour was opened in 2007, Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell said gaming revenues in the state increased 15 per cent, while New Jersey and West Virginia experienced declines, reported the Pittsburgh Channel.
