Michigan casino plans blackjack tournament

2009-05-06 17:23:43

A casino in Michigan has announced that it will be holding a monthly blackjack tournament.

The first will be held at the Four Winds Casino Resort on June 2nd, with a $60 buy-in contributing to a prize pool of over $5,000 if all spots are filled.

And general manager of the venue Matt Harkness explained that the event is just one of the ways it is attracting guests, with a draw to win a Porsche 911 being held later this month.

"Four Winds is continually striving to deliver new and exciting promotions for our guests," he said, adding that a Mothers' Day brunch will take place this Sunday (May 10th).

Last week, the resort announced the addition of a new chartered bus service to transport gamers.

The shuttle bus runs between Benton Harbor, Michigan and the New Buffalo site, with a $1 fare being paid in exchange for the journey and $5 of free slot play.
