New PokerPro tables for Nevada casino

PokerTek has announced the installation of its first new automated poker tables at a Nevada casino.

The PokerPro tables have received approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board and two are now located at Mountain View Casino in Pahrump.

Although 12 are also at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, this was the venue for a trial and the new installation is the first since approval was granted.

A new room has been opened at Mountain View Casino, which is now a licensed World Series of Poker satellite location.

Owner Shelley McCaw remarked: "PokerPro fits into our vision for Mountain View Casino and allows us to offer our players a total poker experience in a cool and innovative environment."

PokerTek recently announced that Isle of Capri's Rhythm City in Davenport, Iowa had accepted two new PokerPro tables, each of which can seat a maximum of ten players.
