Gold praises Las Vegas Hard Rock

2008-11-04 12:09:17

The 2006 World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event winner Jamie Gold has spoken warmly of a recent visit to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Gold wrote in his Bluff Magazine blog that he had "an absolute blast" at the venue, where he appeared on the Howard Stern Show and took in resort's new poker lounge.

He claimed that the Hard Rock is somewhere he feels "really comfortable" and added: "I have many friends there that run the place and they always treat me incredibly well."

During his trip he gave poker advice to his fellow guests on the Howard Stern Show and discussed how he had a great time hanging out and partying with the crew who worked on the episode.

Gold lives in California and is the biggest money winner in the history of tournament poker, having picked up $12 million for his WSOP victory.
