HK$1m wins for Macau gamblers

The Venetian Macao Resort Hotel in Macau paid out HK$1 million ($128,000) three times in as many days to a trio of lucky punters at the end of September, it has been reported.

According to the Macau Daily Times, Ng Fung Yee, Chan Kwai Cheung and Ho Kit Fong all won at the vast casino after taking part in a special promotion.

The gamblers hit the jackpot after spinning a giant wheel, but while their wins may have been similar, the ways in which in they plan to spend their money are not.

Ms Ho wants to go traveling with her windfall and split the rest between members of her family.

Meanwhile, Mr Chan remarked: "I would like to use the prize money to pay off my mortgage and get married."
