Three days remain until the Casino War Tournaments at InterCasino begin.

Punters taking part in the war will have 30 minutes to achieve the highest balance possible within that period, reports Poker News.

The top eight places will receive cash prizes from a prize pool of $500 for each tournament, with the winner taking home half of the total.

Second place gets $100 with positions three to eight receiving $25 a piece.

All the money on the table is just for play, the only real cash outlay being the $10 sign-up fee for the games.

The competitions are based on the game Casino War in which the winner is the player who has the highest card against those held by dealer.

InterCasino will be running an Olympic-inspired competition with guaranteed cash prizes for those who finish in the top 500 spots on the leaderboard.

The more events that participants enter, the greater the chance that they will finish in the money.
