Shorr expresses love for Las Vegas

Poker professional Shannon Shorr has stated that he is a big fan of Las Vegas.

The Nevada gaming city has taken some flack in recent weeks, with Dani 'Ansky' Stern being particularly critical of the gambling mecca on Pokersavvy.

But Alabaman Shorr wrote in his blog that he adores the destination, despite its many faults.

"When I'm back in Alabama I often find myself missing it," the Bellagio Cup II winner commented.

"I love the action, the lights, the 24/7 lifestyle, everything about it."

Indeed, Shorr likes the city so much that he is considering purchasing a condo there with some friends.

He has spent the majority of the year living in Las Vegas and one of his housemates, Eric 'basebaldy' Baldwin, has already elected to set up home in Clark County.

Doyle Brunson, Chau Giang and Mike Matusow are just a few of the famous poker players who live in the city.
