'Learn the rules' before going to a casino

Gamblers have been urged to make sure they understand the rules before playing casino games in a live environment.

Jackpot.co.uk's Holly Emblem suggested that finding out how to take part in certain games is very important for a person if they wish to avoid "annoying" those around them.

"With the variety of gaming guides now available at just a touch of a button you'd be foolish not to swot up before your first visit to a casino," she remarked.

Ms Emblem added that trying to play the games online first may be a good way of starting out.

Her comments follow those of Phil Martin, the editor of Casino Review magazine, who claimed lots of poker players are now brushing up on their skills online before heading to the casinos to have a go in the live environment.

Mr Martin suggested that the internet is a place where gamblers can learn tactics that would prove useful in proper casino.
