Holt 'enjoys' blackjack table appearance

Kendall Holt was happy to see his face on top of a blackjack table in Las Vegas this week.

The boxer, who successfully challenged Ricardo Torres for the WBO light-welterweight title at the Planet Hollywood Casino on Saturday, appeared on the table as part of the promotion for the fight.

According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, Holt "was amazed" by the advertisement.

Blackjack covers at Planet Hollywood have been impressing boxers all year.

Indeed, Joe Calzaghe was so enthusiastic about one featuring him and Bernard Hopkins that he requested it be sent over to Wales so he could put it in his house.

It is not known whether Holt would like to keep his one, although he has been photographed in front of it with Torres.

A Las Vegas casino is a world away from the venue where Holt fought Torres for the first time last year.

The American was knocked out late on by the hometown fighter in a bear-pit like arena in Colombia.
