GCB watching Rio "closely"

Harrah's Entertainment resort the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino is being carefully observed by Nevada's Gaming Control Board (GCB).
The Rio recently signed a deal with Sapphire Gentleman's Club in order to improve its poolside entertainment and local officials have inspected the venue to make sure no topless gambling is taking place, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Sapphire operates a strip club in Nevada, but cards enthusiasts - currently at the Rio for the World Series of Poker - should not have noticed anything untoward at the casino, according to Randall Sayre.
The GCB representative remarked: "We have recently visited the Rio and found nothing in terms of that venue that rose to the level that was of great concern."
Several thousand people will descend upon the Rio later this week to take part in the WSOP main event, the biggest and most lucrative competition in poker.
Last year's winner Jerry Yang won more than $8 million for triumphing in the tournament.
