A new man is about to be put in charge of one notable gambling hotspot.
Voters have gone to the polls in Atlantic City to elect a new mayor, in what could be an important contest for the New Jersey resort's casinos.
According to the Associated Press, former mayor Lorenzo Langford looks set to win by a wide margin after a number of ballots have been counted.
In a message to his support base, Mr Langford commented: "You have chosen me to represent you, and you know I'm going to represent you.
"They wanted to bury me. They told you Langford was finished. But it looks like victory is ours tonight."
Should Mr Langford win, he will replace current mayor Scott Evans who has seen Atlantic City casino revenues deteriorate since coming into office.
Last week it was announced that Donald Trump is to sell his Trump Marina Hotel Casino - one of his three gambling venues in the city - to Coastal Marina.
