Harrah's praised for WSOP arrangements

Harrah's Entertainment has done an excellent job in preparing for one of the biggest events on the casino calendar - the World Series of Poker (WSOP).

At least this is the opinion of Daniel Negreanu, one of the most highly-regarded players in the world, who told readers of his Full Contact Poker blog that the job the gambling giant has done is "incredible".

"I'm not one to throw around praise when it's unwarranted, but in this case, it's warranted."

Negreanu was at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino where the summer-long poker extravaganza takes place earlier this week and paid particular compliments to the new clock system, which is highly visible and color-coded.

"This year's WSOP is shaping up to be the best WSOP ever," the three-time WSOP bracelet winner said.

Another poker player to have expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming competitions in his blog is Shannon Shorr, who will be there from day one.
