Poker back in search term list

Poker has risen to 41st in the Lycos search rankings after another brief sojourn outside the top 50.

The card game was not among the most commonly used search terms last week, but it is now back in the running, ahead of Beyonce and behind Inuyasha.

New film Deal, which centres around a fictional World Poker Tour (WPT) event, and last week's WPT Championship may be two of the reasons why poker has made it into the rankings - which it dominated until a few months ago.

Deal has been slammed by critics but has still managed to gather a decent amount of publicity thanks to its famous cast, including Shannon Elizabeth, Burt Reynolds and world class poker players such as Phil Laak.

The current top dog is Ashlee Simpson due to rumours that she is pregnant, with Kim Kardashian second and Paris Hilton third.

Naruto and YouTube round out the top five.
