Those interested in heading to Las Vegas's latest casino-hotel the Palazzo may be interested to know that it is the resort's restaurants and shops that are its strongest point - not the gaming floor.
At least this is what John Flanders has suggested in a review of the Las Vegas Sands-owned property for the Times.
Mr Flanders was generally positive about the Palazzo, in particular the dining and retail aspects, which he even preferred over his vast hotel suite and sightings of celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Jay-Z.
"The Palazzo is more than Vegas with extra sequins. It's a hotel on crack," he commented. "My advice? Enjoy the high while it lasts."
Mr Flanders implied it is easy to get lost at the Palazzo due to its size, being the second largest building in the world.
He also hinted that despite it catering for luxury clientele, it is not immune to Las Vegas's sleaziness and that visitors could soon tire of the glamour.
The Palazzo was given a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certificate by the US Green Building Council earlier this month.
