Hard Rock Casino to help Cellphones for Soldiers

The Cellphones for Soldiers charity will benefit from a new promotion being run by Florida's Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Seminole Warriors Boxing Promotions is hosting a fight card at the venue tonight and those willing to donate their mobiles to the charity will be able to purchase two tickets for the price of one.

Cellphones for Soldiers aids US troops fighting abroad to contact their families by giving them mobile phones to use.

The boxing card is being televised on ESPN2, with light-welterweights Juan Urango and Carlos Wilfredo Vilches - two former Ricky Hatton opponents - in the main event.

Middleweight prospect Joe Greene will try and extend his unbeaten record in the chief support against ex-Commonwealth welterweight titlist Joshua Okine and David Estrada faces Alexander Pacheco Quiroz in an undercard bout.

The Seminole tribe has owned the Hard Rock chain of casinos and restaurants since the end of 2006.
