Refurbishment work is being carried out at two of Detroit, Michigan's casinos, it has been reported.
An approximate combined total of $691 million is being spent on the resorts, according to the Detroit Free Press - as they try to keep pace with recent additions to rivals Greektown Casino and MGM Grand Detroit.
Work began on the luxury MotorCity casino last year and its poker rooms and high-roller gaming space have already been renovated.
The $300 million project will see a greater number of lounges and restaurants added to the venue, along with a theatre and a spa.
MotorCity has a reputation for luxury and claims to offer its customers a "Detroit hotel experience like no other".
Even more money is being spent over at Casino Windsor, where a 5,000-seat theatre and 100,000 sq ft of convention space are being built. A new hotel tower will also give the venue a further 400 rooms.
