Former NBA basketball star Dennis Rodman will participate in a charity poker event in Australia next week, according to reports.
The Daily Telegraph in Australia notes that the former Chicago Bulls man will join other celebrities, such as Sydney FC's Terry McFlynn and former international athlete Melinda Gainsford Taylor, Down Under for the charity game.
Reportedly, Rodman's participation is down to the work of Today show weatherman Steve Jacobs, who persuaded the former Celebrity Big Brother UK contestant to compete.
Jared Crouch, Jason Smith and Mark Worthington are among the other Australian celebs who will sit down for a game of cards with Rodman.
Some AU$10,000 will go to charity as a result of the game, which is scheduled for Tuesday March 18th at Sydney's Star City.
Rodman's colourful NBA career also included stops at the Detroit Pistons and the San Antonio Spurs before he became something of a cult figure at the Bulls.
