Clooney chooses casino for Valentine's Day

2008-02-18 12:15:44

Hollywood star George Clooney chose to have his Valentine's Day with girlfriend Sarah Larson at a Las Vegas casino, it has been reported.

The Good Night, and Good Luck actor spent the night in the exclusive Hugh Hefner Sky Villa at Palms Casino Resort's Playboy Tower, according to Bang Showbiz.

Clooney also visited the MGM Grand on his trip and took in a performance by Cirque De Soleil.

The former ER man will always be strongly linked with Las Vegas due to his performances in the Ocean's Eleven series of films, many parts of which were filmed on the strip.

Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Thirteen both featured scenes at the Bellagio Casino & Hotel, which - along with the MGM Grand and the Mirage - was one of the three resorts to be robbed during the first movie.

The suite where Clooney stayed is a massive 9,000 sq ft and cost $40,000 to rent.
