Las Vegas casino handed "prestigious" awards

Several top hospitality awards have been bestowed upon the Wynn Las Vegas Resort and Country Club, it has been announced.

The hotel is the proud owner of a Mobil Five Star and the American Automobile Association's Five Diamond award for the second year in a row. It also received a Five Red Pavilion from the Michelin Guide.

Numerous awards were handed out to some of the casino's restaurants as well, with several Mobil Four Stars and two Michelin stars being given.

The Michelin restaurant guide is perhaps the most revered collection of food ratings in the western world and has been published since 1900. It is famous for keeping its judging criteria a secret.

"Earning these prestigious accolades for the second consecutive year is testament to our ongoing commitment to quality and to providing an exceptional guest experience at Wynn Las Vegas," said Andrew Pascal, spokesman for the resort.
