Dover Downs to host big boxing match

The Dover Downs Racetrack and Casino in Dover, Delaware is set to host a big boxing match next month when it plays host to ESPN2's Friday Night Fights.

World-rated Darnell Wilson from Maryland will try to defend his USBA cruiserweight title against unbeaten BJ Flores from Missouri.

It will not be the first time either man has fought at a casino, with Wilson having boxed at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and Atlantic City's Tropicana Casino - among others - and Flores having appeared at the Trump Taj Mahal and Bally's Hotel and Casino.

Dover Downs is perhaps most famous for its Nascar events, but it also includes close to 3,000 slots machines, a 500-room hotel and an 18,000 sq ft ballroom.

Some of the top entertainers to appear at the venue include Tom Jones, Bill Cosby and The Temptations.
