Casino gamblers 'should watch out for free buffets'

People considering going into a casino should make sure they gamble before they eat because they may receive a free buffet, a blog has advised.

Writing a list of tips that budding gamers should bear in mind when heading to Las Vegas, Chris Pirillo put the food recommendation first

"Don't go to the casino hungry. First play… and then eat," he said.

"You may get a comped buffet which leaves more money in your pocket."

Other suggestions were that players should not bring money that they are not prepared to lose, to take frequent rests, to sign up for reward cards and to place bigger bets when the pit boss is nearby - because he "decides who should get what comps".
