New casino courses at Mansfield University

Mansfield University in Pennsylvania has announced that it is to make available a series of internet training courses for those wishing to pursue a career in casinos.

The university will produce the courses in conjunction with Gatlin Education Services (GES).

GES founder Stephen Gatlin said: "We are proud to be in partnership with Mansfield University to offer the Casino Gaming program.

"Now, students can learn the skills necessary to be successful in their dream job."

On offer to students will be the modules Casino Blackjack Dealer, Casino Baccarat Dealer and Casino Poker Dealer, which will teach the game basics and will also give lessons on how to shuffle cards.

Students will also be able to receive wisdom from poker legend Johnny Chan.

The whole programme will be taught via the web.
