ABC discusses how casinos keep customers happy

2007-11-02 10:49:42

Comp card systems, flashing lights and alcohol have all been mentioned as ways in which casinos try to keep their customers happy.

An article on ABC explored how casinos manage to get players to keep coming back so that they can take their money.

According to Cruzino.com, most casinos offers comp cards, which give gamblers access to free stuff, based on the amount of money they gamble.

Talking about the complimentary goods and services, gambler Joey Farrales said: "It's one of the most brilliant ways to keep you at a particular casino.

"When I go to certain casinos they have me on file and I'm treated to complimentary meals, tickets to shows and sometimes a free room."

Farrales also said that despite strict rules preventing casinos from giving gamblers more alcohol, the waitresses still ply them with a lot of drink.

ABC mentioned that slot machines generate the most money in casinos and the attraction of flashing lights is important in this area.
