Leading advertising firm takes on Pennsylvanian casino

A premier gaming resort in Pennsylvania has hired New York-based Stand Advertising to lead its pre-opening campaign, it has been announced.

When it opens in October, Mount Airy Casino Resort will comprise with 2,500 slot machines and four restaurants.

Soon after, the $412 million resort will be extended to include 188 luxury rooms, an 18-hole golf course, a full-service spa, a 200-seat nightclub and a fitness center.

Jacqui Bloh, client executive director of marketing at the casino, said: "Stand's presentation, from both a strategic and a creative perspective, fits our needs perfectly."

Stand Advertising, whose clients include Perry's Ice Cream, claims it helped Seneca Niagara Casino increase its revenues by more than 50 per cent in 12 months.
