New CEO appointed at Trump Entertainment

Trump Entertainment Resorts has announced that Mark Juliano has been named the company's chief executive officer (CEO).

Mr Juliano said that he plans to attract new customers and expand Trump Entertainment's player base.

He will be expected to act upon the firm's casino revenue action plan designed to improve operating performance during the rest of the year.

Chairman Donald Trump said that Mr Juliano "is the right man for the job".

"His understanding of the gaming industry, innovative operational and marketing techniques and impressive leadership are exactly the right qualities needed to lead the company," he stated.

Until now, Mr Juliano has been interim CEO after James B Perry was fired in the middle of June.

Before that he was chief operating officer at Trump Entertainment– a position he held for two years.
