Vegas-Atlantic City route unveiled

2007-05-04 17:11:28

A new flight route which connects the two biggest gambling hotspots in the US to one another was unveiled yesterday, offering gamblers the chance to experience gambling paradises on either side of America.

The flights, from Atlantic City International Airport and McCarran International Airport, will depart from either location once a day via Spirit Airlines, the Associated Press (AP) has reported.

The trip is principally aimed at casino officials wanting to travel between their holdings, but the flight could also be taken up by gamblers looking for a whirlwind trip round on the two world-famous American resorts.

And the new route opens up Atlantic City to a range of new markets, potentially providing benefits to the area's economy, the AP advises.

Last week it was reported that the Atlantic City Hilton planned to double the size of its casino floor to 120,000 square feet in an effort to keep pace with increasingly large casino developments in the region.
