New CEO announced for PlayboyGaming software provider

Cryptologic, a leading software provider to sites such as PlayboyGaming.com, has announced the appointment of Javaid Aziz as the firm's new president and chief executive.

Aziz, a former chief executive of IBM UK, will replace outgoing head Lewis Rose, who announced last year that he was to step down to focus on family commitments.

CryptoLogic has also announced that it will meet with shareholders to approve the transition of the firm into a UK company resident in Ireland and listed on the London Stock Exchange as well as the TSX and the Nasdaq.

The software developer has already announced plans to expand into Asia via an agreement signed with two Chinese firms.
