MGM Mirage has unveiled a new board member as part of the company's continued expansion.
Daniel Taylor will take up the post following a vote by the current board of directors on March 20th.
Mr Taylor has a history of gambling-related roles, having begun his career as a tax manager specialising in entertainment and gaming practice.
"We are very pleased to welcome Dan to the board of directors. His financial, entertainment and gaming experience will assist him in providing valuable insight and perspective to our Board and the future growth of our company," said MGM Mirage chairman and chief executive Terry Lanni.
The announcement came as MGM was selected as one of the 50 best companies for diversity in America by magazine and website DiversityInc.
"We are committed to creating a culture that reflects diversity as a core business value," Mr Lanni confirmed in a separate statement.
