PokerNews has continued its regular monitoring of the famous jackpot and reported on the latest figure, indicating just how renowned the multi-million dollar prize is within online gambling circles.

Within the last few months the jackpot has had to start from scratch following one player's success in early 2006. That player became an instant millionaire after winning more than $1 million, but the prize now stands at $5,521,332,20 and continues to rise.
