CryptoLogic revenue up 21% in 2006

2007-02-16 16:28:03

Software developer CryptoLogic has announces its financial results for 2006, revealing that revenue and earnings rose by 21 per cent to $104 million and $24.8 million.

Despite the seismic changes that have affected the industry in recent months, CryptoLogic has continued to expand its customer base and boost its profile via deals with the likes of William Hill, PlayboyGaming, Betsafe and Parbet, the company said.

In total the company ended the year with over $128 million, with further developments expected to boost revenues again in 2007.

"While 2006 was a challenging year for the industry, it was another record year for CryptoLogic - and we enter 2007 with both focus and momentum," said CryptoLogic chief executive Lewis Rose.

"With our largest licensees on long-term agreements, and modest revenue expected this year from our new Asian venture, CryptoLogic is poised for long-term growth in the European markets of today -- and the Asian markets of tomorrow," he added.
