The eCommerce and Online Gambling Regulation and Assurance (eCogra) organisation has announced that it will reveal its long awaited online gambling study on January 23rd.
The study, the largest ever report of its kind, will be launched at the International Casino Exhibition at London's Earl's Court early next year.
Featuring the views and responses of over 11,000 online gamblers, and addressing issues ranging from online casino infrastructures to online poker playing, the Global Online Gambling Report promises to present the most definitive account yet produced of the attitudes of a new generation of players.
With universities in the UK and the US collaborating on the report, eCogra officials have revealed that the results may be unexpected.
"Early indications show that there will be some surprises in the report and we think it will be very revealing for both industry insiders and a wider public," said eCogra chief executive Andrew Beveridge.
