Swedish student wins seat at $1 million table

A Swedish student won a coveted seat in The Tournament Titan, a million dollar sit and go competition.

Simon Leetsaar, 28, finished first in two consecutive qualifier sit and go tournaments, where he won both $2000 and two, $5000 tables over a three day period.

"Reaching the Tournament Titan is absolutely the biggest thing that has ever happened to me," he gushed.

Sit and go tournaments are typically shorter Texas hold'em games and are popular in online tournament play.

The Titan's is the richest pot ever played in an online poker room, where only 20 players can qualify for the main event, by winning three consecutive qualifier tournaments.

Four players have qualified for the tournament so far, with the top prize including seats in WPT events and entry to the WSOP main event.

All four are amateur poker players and are very excited to participate in the landmark event.
