The History of Baccarat

Despite its French name, Baccarat originated in Italy and reached France only during the reign of Charles VIII (ruled 1483 - 1498). At first baccarat became exclusive among the aristocracy and that gave it its aura of sophistication and elegance that endured, even when it spread through each social level of French society. Today it still retains that level of sophistication and is enjoyed by many the world over.

Baccarat Strategy

Baccarat is a simple game with only 3 possible outcomes: 'Player', 'Banker' and 'Tie'. Unlike other card games, In Baccarat the term 'Player' does not refer to the person playing the game and the term 'Banker' does not refer to the house. They are simply just options on which you can bet.

The aim of baccarat is to predict which hand will have a total of 9 or as close to 9 as possible. One of the stage things about baccarat is that the game is named after the worst hand - Baccarat stands for zero. The same Baccarat rules also apply to the online game.
